Syndi N Poker: TEXAS "Holdem" STYLE

I was playing at a table today where I was doing ok. I had a player start complaining about how she had bad luck. I tried to tell her that she needed to be patient and her time will come. She seemed to think that EVERY time that she played she had this so called bad luck. I find this very hard to believe. I told her I was down earlier at the table but now I am up. Of course we were playing online poker. She seemed to think that it was bad luck cause someone wouldn't fold when she thought they should and then they suck out and beat her. I told her that at the lower stakes games like we were playing today... people tend to make poor calls and end up sucking out with those. I also proceeded to tell her that we were playing internet poker not face to face. She couldn't understand that there was a bit of difference in these plays. See Internet Poker for details. I finally got her to understand the more efficient way to play and she did a lot better.
