Home Game on Halloween

Well on Friday, October 31st we did indeed have another home game. While we waited for the remainder of the players to arrive, we played just a dummy hand. Wouldn't you know it the poor Rich ended up getting Quad Aces. Of course he wasn't as thrilled to see those cards is a mock hand, but I have to say that I was pleased it was only for practice/warm-up cause more than likely, he would've kicked out at least 3 people with that hand. Lol! Well, my luck didn't improve as the game proceeded. Rich won the first round and Kevin won the second. Looks like the we are just playing ping pong with the trophy (back and forth).
Nancy has improved her hand a great deal. She has learned that it's not a bluffing game. She actually is changing up her stile and one never knows what she has anymore. Kudos to you Nancy!!!
Rich is almost an easy read but sometimes one still isn't quite sure what he has. Although Nancy is the current holder of the trophy, it had come down to her or Rich. Rich is always an amusing player. You can almost always count on a laugh when he is around. Keep up the good play Rich!
Fyi.... I am coming for you, Rich and Nancy both. That trophy will be mine again, LMAO! Or at least belong to the Savadge/Gunn household. Kevin has improved his heads up game tremendously... now he just has to get to that point. Once he does, look out!
On Friday, we also has Ariane and her husband Arthur stopped by for the game. Ariane ACTS like she doesn't know what she is doing. That only works once. Next time we are ready for you, lol. She would call anything no matter what she had. She definitely couldn't be pushed off any hands that night. She knocked everyone out of the first game that night except for Rich and Donna. Rich ended up taking her down. LOL!
Donna had never played poker before she joined our little home game. She cracks me up! I think now she understands it very well and has won the trophy a few times herself. She doesn't play as much as the Burgs and the Savadge/Gunn families, but nonetheless, she is beating the pants off of us at times.
I look forward to the next trophy night. It will be mine again.
