Play at PKR?

I recently came across a new poker site called PKR. It looked to be rather interesting so I downloaded it to check it out. It has its positive and negatives just as any other site has. I only played on the free money part. I like to try out new sites with the free play to see if it is worth my real money, lol. I do have my bankroll set up in a few different sites for real money play. In order for them to get my money, I have to REALLY like them. This is what I found to be true about this site. This is strictly my own opinion and no one is paying me for saying these things. I just like to try new sites out and tell you what I think.
The aspects of the site that I liked are as follows:
1. The avatar that represents you... can be totally created to look however you want it to. It is really awesome. You can choose the clothes and features that are to your liking. I was very impressed with this part of it. There are only a few items to choose from for free. However, if you earn PKR Points through the real money, you can upgrade to better clothes/accessories. Here is how I chose my avatar to look.
2. It also has an interaction feature as well for when you are sitting at the tables. One can choose to do chip trips. It gives you a choice of Bounce Stack, Chip Spread, or Twirl.
3. There are different camera views that you can look at your table through. They are as follows: West, South, North East, First Person, Dynamic, Orbit, and Overview.
4. There are different moods for sitting at the table as well. They are as follows: Happy, Angry, Casual, Sad, and Neutral. Depending on the mood you select, it changes the sound of the voice and the position your avatar is sitting in.
5. Then, there are 4 more drop down/up menus that have the same commands in them. Some of these would include things like: brb, boo, bring it on, cheer, chicken, clap, congrats, fan, flirt, frown, good call, good game, good luck, lmao, lol, nice hand, ty, well played, yw, etc... Here is a pic to help give you an idea:
6. The voice interaction is very cool also. It tells you when it's your turn, when the cards are being dealt, what the bets are, when someone calls or raises, and when one chooses a certain command that involves talking (such as Thank you, or nice hand).
The aspects of the site that I DIDN'T like are as follows:
1. The friend system... I have yet to figure out how to add a friend or find a friend. Most other sites male it easy for you to locate your friends and view them as they play. If it is there it is not where I can find it.
2. The site is a bit difficult to maneuver. It took me great deal of time to figure out just how to get into a game to play.
3. Once I did figure out where I needed to go... I found that the free play/practice games were a bit higher than you would expect. You really can only play one multi-game tournament with the free chips/money they start you off with. The cheapest tourney I have come across was the $550 entry fee (play money) and they only start you off with $1,000. Sure you can reload if you happen to not place in the money. I find it to be a bit frustrating to have to reload so quickly.
4. They have this music that plays when you are on the main menu page... I find it to be rather annoying. Perhaps you may like it. Luckily for me... it has an on/off switch for that music.
I guess that will about sum it up for now. I have only been on there a few times. This last time was a big win for me. I won 1st out 50 players. Not to shabby! Here is how it looks when you win...

Nice review, I am signed up with PKR and found it a great place to play. The only thing I found wrong with the site was the HUGE download and sometimes the speed of the client. I would like to see PKR 2D Client for those who find the pretty graphics a little too much and want to play just the poker tables. Apart from that its still a great place to play.

Yes I would definitely have to agree with the download issue and client. I also noticed if you pre-click what you plan to do the spoken words overlap and it is hard to understand what is said. Also, I find that all those fancy moves and things that one is capable of doing... tend to make people take much longer to play. I play on-line mostly for the speed of the game. Thanks for the comments.
