Family Time with Poker!

Playing Texas Holdem poker with the kids this last weekend. I find it hard to believe, but my kids kicked my butt. I was second out. Five of us were playing and here I am, the one that plays poker all the time, gone out second. Kevin however, did kick the kids butts. I wish I could say that Kevin took me down... but I can't :(
The thing about playing with the kids is that they will call you down to the river with absolutely nothing and out draw on you. They were so lucky with the cards, I couldn't believe it. Even tho I was out early...I had a wonderful time just spending time with the kids. They love to play poker too just like the momma here. LOL! They don't get to play that often, so when they do it is a real treat. I do want to give my props to Zackerie and Connor who outlasted me, Congratulations guys... well played!!! I had a great time and look forward to doing it again!

Hi!At last I manage to follow your blog!I do not know poker and I feel a lot of times as an unlucky person.So I do not engage in games that easy.:)

Belinha... Glad you were able to follow. Good news for you, playing poker has little luck involved. It is really mostly skill and being able to read people. You would be surprised that you might do well by the game... Good luck to you!
